Syringe pump models with the “X” suffix are equipped with advanced firmware, providing additional features compared to standard versions.
For example, the NE-1000X is physically identical to the NE-1000, but offers expanded functionality through its advanced firmware.
The “X” firmware includes additional programming options, such as a linear pumping rate function, as well as advanced dual-pump control modes, including continuous pumping mode.
Programmable pumps (excluding the NE-300) can be field-upgraded to the “X” firmware version, with no hardware replacement required.
An “X2” firmware version is also available for particularly complex applications.
This version significantly expands program memory, increasing the number of programmable phases from 41 to 340, making it ideal for users with highly complex pumping protocols.

All programmable pumps can be configured in a DUAL system using the CBL-DUAL-3 cable, enabling coordinated control of two pumps.
